Holistic education refers to an approach to education that addresses more than just academic learning. A holistic approach addresses the learning needs of students in multiple dimensions, including intellectual, physical, socio-emotional and creative. Holistic teaching methods recognize that students have different learning styles and unique interests and passions, and allows them to explore the wide variety of learning paths available to them.

At St. Mary’s, we utilize a holistic approach to education, offering educational opportunities to meet students’ intellectual, physical, socio-emotional and creative needs. We offer a dynamic American curriculum, which integrates skills in many of these areas. We also understand the importance of cultural education and understanding both for our Vietnamese students and cross cultural understanding for our International students. In addition to our standardized American curriculum, we also incorporate Vietnamese cultural traditions, understandings and values into our curriculum and community celebrations.
